I always have good service at Align. My therapist cares about how I’m feeling during and after the treatment. I go for some health issues regularly so that the problem doesn’t become chronic. I would recommend people who need treatments to go to Align.

Registered Massage Therapy in the Ottawa area. We offer a wide variety of specialized techniques by Ottawa Massage Therapists such as ART, Craniosacral Therapy, the Bowen Technique and Myofascial Release to treat conditions such as sciatica, TMJ, whiplash & more. Ottawa Registered Massage Therapy is beneficial for people of all ages.
Swedish Massage is the primary massage therapy technique learned by RMTs in Ontario. This technique uses moderate to deep pressure and combines kneading, gliding movements and direct pressure to stretch and release muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Swedish Massage reduces pain, relieves chronic muscle tension, increases circulation, promotes relaxation and calm, and can help in dealing with stress. One of the most effective traditional massage techniques, it is used to release muscular tension and trigger-points or "knots." Swedish Massage therapy can be used either for relaxation or to treat specific injuries or pain.
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue.
It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic Swedish Massage, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
The treatment can be painful, so it is important to communicate with your therapist during the treatment and to report any lasting discomfort post-treatment. Massage Therapy is beneficial for all ages and body types.
Our newest location in downtown Ottawa massage therapy is the new home of Danielle Walker, RMT and Erica Sainsbury, RMT, formerly of Myobalance Massage Therapy. Myobalance massage closed in September and the therapists have found a new home at Align Massage Therapy.
